You know what?

It was quite a special day today.  So many people out and about today wishing me a Happy Veterans day on the heals of the Marine Corps birthday yesterday.

It is so refreshing to see all the support for our military and for all the FREE meals being handed out to our veterans and active military across the country.

Honestly I wish my son was here to enjoy it and take part in it but he is doing what Marines do and is headed out to Libya to stand firm against whomever it is he needs do.   Keep him in your prayers of course!!

I took the family to Olive Garden today and had a nice lunch - the place was packed to the gills I know that.   San Antonio is such a large military town that I am sure the GDP went down across the area if not for ONE Day.

It was a nice day for sure and I just wanted to make sure and tell everyone how much I appreciate the support and the free meals to our veterans.

I am hoping for a great week and I pray that each and everyone of you finds something to be grateful for each and every day.

I am thankful again for all the support and may God bless you and your family and keep your servicemen and women safe as they are out defending our country and our way of life.

It is good to see that no matter which side of the isle one is on, we stand strongly behind those who serve.

I think the restaurant bonus gifts to our Veterans are really neat. Of course I noticed a Bloomin Onion one!

You must be very proud of your Marine son.  I hope he stays safe and gets back home soon.
