One Year Ago Today I Lost My Best Friend

Hi Dawn, I know exactly what you are talking about. Your little guy will always be a part of your life. Even when another might come to be a part of your family, each one of these little ones give such a pure form of love, that unless you have experienced it, one would never fully understand it. It been two years for me and I think of my little ones all the time. But allow me to tell you something that others may not have said. These little ones bring out your own personal best in love. Human love is one type but this is a special love that can refine the heart and enhance your ability to express love so much more freely to whomever and to wherever it needs to be.

Hi Dawn: I'm so sorry. What a beautiful friend. I have 3 dogs now, one of them is 13, has just lost her hearing and she seems disoriented so I know she is not going to be long with us. Interestingly the other female dog with whom she's had some issues in the past, is now being very good to her. It's wonderful to see. We all give her lots of love to make her feel special. 

Dawn, We've walked the same path a lot of times and it's never been easy.  They all hold a special place in our hearts and aren't forgotten.

Loving memories of Koby will keep him alive in your heart forever Dawn.  It's hard to believe a year has passed, I remember you posting about it when you lost him.

Has it been a year?!?  There's never a day that I don't think about my Poppy and how much joy he brought into my life.  I'm so glad you were able to have Wriggy (did I remember correctly) come into your life and while never, ever a replacement, you were strong enough to open your heart up again!!  I love your strength Dawn!

Dawn, Kobi was a cute little one and I remember how tough that was for you.  It's been several years since I lost my Dalmatians, but it still hurts. I hope Wrigley has settled in well.
