Arthur W. Main Jr.Dallas' Veterans Day Ceremonies will begin at 9:30 in front of City Hall, with the display of military equipment. At 10:45, enlistees will take the Oath of Enlistment. Other activities will include a fly over by T38s in the missing man formation and a wreath-laying. The Veterans Day Parade will follow these activities. The parade will begin in front of the old Reunion Arena area, travel north on Houston, turn east on Main, travel south on Ervay, turn west on Young and south on Akard.
 
My hero, my dad, who served as a Navy pilot in the South Pacific in WWII.
