Memory Grove Park is dedicated to the memory of Utah residents who fought and died in the World Wars. It is located at the mouth of City Creek Canyon, just east of the State Capitol.
Tucked away and hidden, Memory Grove Park features beautiful water and grass areas and lots of trees and plants. It is a great place to picnic with the family read a book or take an adventurous stroll with your pooch in the amazing off leash portion of the park.
It is also a popular place for photographers to shoot bridal and engagement photos. There are many weddings and receptions at the Memorial House reception center.
This park is definitely my favorite parks here in the Salt Lake Valley. My family and dog visit it often.
