Moving to Dupont Circle?  Dupont Circle is a cosmopolitan neighborhood with some of Washington, DC's finest museums, historic homes and foreign embassies as well as a variety of ethnic restaurants, bookstores, and private art galleries. This neighborhood is the heart of Washington, DC’s nightlife. The Dupont Circle community is home to many recent college graduates and is also popular with gays and lesbians. There are lots of high-rise apartment buildings and many row houses have been converted into apartments. The Circle itself is a gathering place with park benches, grass and a unique fountain in the center.

 
 

DUPONT CIRCLE 

At the heart of Dupont Circle is a traffic circle. The area also includes a park, neighborhood, and historic district in Northwest Washington, D.C. The traffic circle is located at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue NW, Connecticut Avenue NW, New Hampshire Avenue NW, P Street NW, and 19th Street NW.  The Dupont Circle neighborhood is bounded approximately by 15th Street NW to the east, 22nd Street NW to the west, M Street NW to the south, and Florida Avenue NW to the north. The local government Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC 2B) and the Dupont Circle Historic District have slightly different boundaries. MORE >>>
