All seasons at the City Creek Center, Salt Lake City Utah

city creek center slc ut

A roof that closes for inclement weather, a community fireplace to cheer visitors, water features to intrigue children, a real creek flowing through it, City Creek Center in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah is proving to be an all-season attraction.

Opened in March 2012, the Center has drawn visitors through the seasons. And now colder times are proving no different. Adults still carry their packages from the enticing stores; children still tempt wetting from numerous water features – fingers have to be dipped to change patterns of flow. It is the life of the place.

When you visit Salt Lake City be sure to enjoy City Creek Center.

Should you choose to make your home in the Salt Lake Valley then the City Creek Center is yours to enjoy year round. I would be happy to be your guide.

That's a great collage you've made there. It sounds like a wonderful attraction for your City.

A roof that closes?  A community fireplace?  Clearly the City Creek Center has made itself a destination for a cold winter's day!

Jill - certainly drawing crowds, even in the cooler weather. The development covers 23 acres in 3 downtown blocks.

Dianne - as on of the largest mixed-use developments in the US, I am sure the Center will go from strength to strength. It has over 90 retail stores and restaurants. You can now skate at Gallavan Plaza and come to the Center to warm up.

Larry, what a fun sounding shopping center!    It is interesting how some of the centers are changing - we have more outdoor shopping centers now.

Joan - I enjoy all of City Creek at a time, but then I have wheels to get me around. My wife tend to take it a bit at a time. Visitors are finding it in large numbers.
