I'm Not Behind On My Mortgage..Can I still do a short sale in MD?

By

If you're not behind on your mortgage, you can still do a short sale in MD.

However, you MUST HAVE A HARDSHIP in order to complete a short sale in MD. If you're not
certain whether your situation would be considered a hardship, contact us.

In the meantime, consider the answers to the following questions:

  • How long will it be before I will not be able to remain current on my mortgage?

  • What is the reason why I will no longer be able to afford my mortgage?

  • If I've been denied a loan modification, what was the reason why?

  • If I apply for a loan modification, how much lower do I need my payments to be so I can afford it?

  • Do I only want to do a short sale because my mortgage is "under water"?

After you've answered these questions, schedule your no obligation consultation or ask your short sale related question and we will provide you with a quick response.

The more information given, the more accurate the evaluation. All information you provide is secure and will be kept strictly confidential. Again there is no obligation.  Simply tell us when you're thinking of selling and share what YOU think your home is worth.

I think since Fannie and Freddie have lightened up on short sale requirements, we will see more people active in doing short sales.
