If you're looking for inspiration before you start your next task - cleaning a closet, writing a blog, or prospecting for clients - you're doing things backwards.
Action doesn't come from inspiration. Inspiration comes from action.
The only way to want to do something is to start it. Cleaning your closet got you down? Throw away one pair of pants that don't fit you any more. That little bit of success will give you the inspiration you need to throw away the shoes that hurt your feet and the blouse that never really went with your coloring. In blogging, write a little. Just writing one or two sentences can result in the inspiration to write another two or three sentences. And before you know it, you've got a whole blog post written! In prospecting, make just one phone call. Crossing that prospect off your list will feel so good that you'll want to cross off two more. And the inspiration to get the job done will be there!
Don't wait for inspiration! Start now, and inspiration will follow.
