Is that really the best we can do for an award?
Awards in the field of construction aren’t quite like other industries. Construction awards are not quite the posing sports figure, not the pretty crystal plaque with the etched writing, or the golden championship cup.
An award for achievement often times comes in the form of a cheesy gold colored hammer. I wonder if I can use this on the job site.

Doubt if you can use either of these lovely awards for anything. We keep them around for a while and then realize they are only for good memories. Maybe that's enough.
I don't know if it would be better, but it would be a conversation piece for sure. I wonder if I could add that.
