No doubt that things are going to get even busier for all of us after next weekend. Life takes on a whole new flavor after Thanksgiving, gears shift, business changes, and our focus readjusts because our world fluctuates somehow over the next six weeks.
In my City, we are blessed with a magnificent 
castle. Every year during the Holiday season, Glen Eyrie is host to a Renaissance extravaganza that offers a joyous night of enchantment. As I thought about writing about the annual Madrigal Banquet, it occurred to me that one of the best ways to keep your name front and center is to write about upcoming local events that people are interested in and will Google to find information and times.
Many of you know that I love making Blogging Lists (there are hundreds of ideas in that link and the links in that post). As I considered some of the things that people will be looking for over the next month or so, I came up with a short list that you might want to consider blogging about for YOUR City. The time to write is NOW . . .
- Local parades
- Seasonal zoo festivities
- Concerts, symphonies, philharmonic events
- Donation opportunities/events (toys, food, money, clothes)
- Where are the best Christmas lights in your area?
- Where can kids go to see Santa?
- Local races (5Ks ~ or 10Ks for those of you in CA)
- Thanksgiving and Christmas Religious services
- Bake sales
- Community dinners
- Theater events (A Christmas Carol, Nutcracker, etc.)
- Helicopter rides to see the Christmas lights
- Christmas teas
- Ornament making
