The construction on I-635 / LBJ Freeway is about to become more interesting this weekend with closures in the area of I-635 and Preston Road. I can't think of a more major / critical location for drivers drivers!
Until noon on Saturday:
One Eastbound lane of I-635 will be open in the area below Preston Road.
The Preston Road Bridge will also be closed! Ouch!
The I-635 Westbound Montfort Road Ramp will be closed.
Sunday noon to 8:00 PM:
Two Westbound lanes under Preston Road will be closed
Sunday 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM Monday morning:
Various Eastbound and Westbound lanes of I-635 will be closed in the area under Preston Road and I-635.
I do not envy those who are unaware of this change in traffic flow!
I recommend checking your GPS and taking an alternate route!
