The Whole Fam Damily!            

Typically when relocation clients meet with me, I'm meeting the immediate family that will be purchasing the home.  Today proved quite different.  Maybe it’s the excitement of a family Relocating to Scottsdale, closer to relatives.  Or maybe it’s the excitement to see what is currently for sale.  Either way, the family of four that I expected to meet turned into a family of 7.  

When I walked into my office to meet the family of 4 Relocating to Scottsdale, there stood an Aunt and Uncle, making the group number at six.  We viewed two homes and I was then told we needed to pick up yet another family member.  This last family member is the actual referral source for the family of 4, as they are cousins.  Turns out this last family member is the daughter of the elderly couple that I wasn’t expecting to meet; the Aunt and Uncle are now the Mother and Father.   

Now that I have that straight, I’m focusing on making sure to drive slower so that this heavily loaded SUV can follow me throughout Scottsdale.  Focusing on the new family and their needs of Relocating to Scottsdale, discussing the construction of the home to a retired police lieutenant Father/Uncle, and remembering to include the two sons who have never been to Arizona made for an interesting day.  

But in the end, they were happy with the showings and results, and they are a wonderful family. It was fun even when I had to make a right turn from the wrong lane due to bad directions on my showing sheets.  That’s when I got to see the “retired Lieutenant's” badge!

This one has to win the record books for fun, unique, and the most members of a family while showing homes.  So if you're Relocating to Scottsdale, don't hesitate to call.  I'm happy to answer questions, even if the "Whole Fam Damily" comes along!
