We took our grandson, Maverick, on his first shopping trip to Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World in Pearland today. What a grand time he had!
Maverick is big enough now to sit in the seat of the shopping cart, which he thought was loads of fun. We wheeled him around to see the giant aquarium full of fish, and to see the animal exhibits throughout the store.
His favorite things seemed to be the three-story waterfall and the big brown bear.
Christmastime is a great time to take the kids to Bass Pro Shops, because there is a special Winter Wonderland section just for kids, and they can get a free picture with Santa.
Maverick got to sit on Santa’s lap for the first time ever, and the Bass Pro Shops Elves gave us a free picture of the event. He had fun looking at the life-sized reindeer that “talks” and watching other kids play with some remote-controlled race cars.
We topped the evening off with dinner in the Bass Pro Shops Restaurant.
I don’t know who had more fun tonight… Maverick or his Grandma and Grandpa!
