Is It OK to Write About Sex?

By
Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

sex and real estate agentsYou know, I say yes, it is OK to write about sex if you want. It's OK to write about whatever you want in a blog because it's your blog. If people don't like it, they won't read it. If they don't read it, they might not ever call you. Do you care? I'm not overly invested. I blog because I have something to say. If I expected everybody to agree with me I'd be working at Fox News with other like minded people, but no, thank goodness I sell homes in Sacramento.

And I never know what I might write about when I get up in the morning. I come over to Active Rain and see what inspires me. I look through my previous day's activities and glance at my appointment book for today. If something catches my fancy, my fingers fly to the keyboard.

Love it. It all drives traffic and that's what it is all about.

I like your style... Elizabeth... and ditto!  I wrote a post titled... Making Love to Your Blog.  It was a little racy with some double entendres, but it was the most fun I've had around here in awhile.  And what's a Naked Blogger supposed to do anyway... get ya to thinkin' I hope ;)))

Well, there is that little thing called freedom of expression. But, I'm betting that Fox would not let you write or speak about sex.

Hey Van Blake, I would not say it's solely about driving traffic because that would mean I am also selling advertising, which I am not.

Hi Mel: I once wrote a blog about accusing my cat of stealing my diaphragm because it was lost in the last place possible you would think of.

Hi David: I rarely use four-letter words when a 3-letter or 2-letter word will do the job just as nicely.

Hi Melissa: The thing is I would not work for FOX so I'll never face that problem.

Well, Elizabeth, you got me thinking!  Perhaps there ought be a scoring for sex, provided by the number of exclamation points after any sentence describing it.  For example, "last night Millie had a hot rendevous, with the gorgeous Italian, who lived next door!!!!!"  Or there may be only a single "!"  However, it begs another question, whether scoring should have been done by Millie, or the writer, who simply wrote about it.  That leaves me out totally.  I'm only the reader.  No action, and no scoring:-)

So far Elizabeth that is still one thing they haven't taken from us yet is the freedom of speech.  Smile and who knows someone may smile back at you
