Hi Mona,
I have a Realtor that will do anything to sell a home. But if the client wants to look at another home it's O.K. with her. She just goes with the flow till they find the one they want.
No pressure from her at all. I like that.
Have a wonderful day in Sylva.
Best, Clint McKie
Clint, thanks. We do try to do everything to help someone make a decision until they get overwhelmed with choices and then it's back to the drawing board and get reminded of the end goal.
Good morning, Mona....that used car salesman attitude will always be a stigma.... before there was a code of ethics, it was velcro your pockets or you'll lose your money.... some of that reputation continues....
Hi Barbara, I guess all we can do is keep our heads above the crowd and behave honestly. Have a good week.
Groovin' on the tune this morning Mona..............but that "shark" reputation is hard to shake.
Houses sell themselves. There's no need for an overbearing salesperson. Agent is there to help decipher information.
Great post. If I can add, "not taking things personally" is key to real estate sales success and success in most other industries as well!
Hey Mona - The second post today I've read that I think should be featured.
So I've got this vacuum ...
I agree, there is a lot of negative perceptions about real estate agents that we must overcome with new clients. Great blog.
Hi Roger, sharklike is one approach I've seen used but never results in referral business. Glad you like the tune.
Jill, deciphering information is an excellent way to describe some of what we do.
Rich, correct. Neither the buyer, seller nor us need to ever take some of these things personally.
Thanks Jason. From you, I'd trust the vacuum cleaner spiel.
Lanise, Negativity can become overwhelming and that's why it is essential to recognize everything before it slips into your body.I knew what was coming.
Valerie, that sounds like fun and the venue of grey hair will be on and off stage, lol. The Quadrophenia album remains one of my favorites to this day.
