Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Route 2012

The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is probably one of the most highly anticpated events in New York City. It takes place from 9am-noon on Thursday November 22, 2012. The parade route begins at 77th st and Central Park West, down to 59th St and turning left, then right onto 6th ave where it will end at Macy's Herald Sq. 34th St. There will be no public viewing or press access in the telecast area on 6th ave from 34th St to 38th st., and on 34th St. between Broadway and 7th Ave. Public viewing will also be limited on the south side of 34th St. between Broadway and 7th Ave.

Every year the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade gets better and better! We'll see 5 new balloons including Papa Smurf, Hello Kitty, Elf on the Shelf, Companion by Kaws, and Rex the Happy Dragon.
