Congratulation to the University of New Mexico LOBOS
The University of New Mexico Men’s Basketball team defeated the 23rd ranked University of Connecticut, Huskies 66-60 to win the 2012 Paradise Jam in St Thomas, Virgin Island. The Lobos were Perfect from the Free Throw Line, scoring 21/21. They out-rebounded UCONN 33-25, and went on to win the Championship.
For the second night in a row the LOBOS treated the entire nation with some exciting basketball. Last night it was the last 9 seconds of the game that the Lobos scored 6 points to defeat George Mason University, 70-69.
The Lobos will return home tomorrow, then they will host IDAHO on Friday and Portland on Sunday. Lobos have the chance to move up to 6-0, and a chance in the Top 25
I will say that I am proud of the Lobos.
