It’s Small Business Saturday, and this year it’s happening on November 24th.
Small businesses help your neighborhood, creating a vibrant local economy and, yes, even boosting housing prices. How? 
For every $100 spent in locally owned independent stores, $68 on average returns to the community through taxes, payroll, and other expenditures. (Big Box Retailers only return $43, and online shops usually return nothing.)
That’s a big difference when your town needs to pay for clean parks, open libraries, safe streets, good schools, and so much more. These are all things we look for when buying a home, and our clients are looking for these things too, and we all want to live in a good neighborhood.
