Davie unveiled a new 8 part series that was produced by the town in partnership with BECON-TV (Broward Education Communications Network...owned and operated by the School Board of Broward County) called BizBlock, which is a program designed to educate and inform micro-business enterprises and small-to-medium business owners of successful strategies.
BizBlock is designed to be a local idea bank that will provide helpful information for businesses looking to grow and succeed in this economy. Each episode features business experts and successful business people who share their expertise in a wide array of topics, such as planning, marketing, and selling. Local business and professors took part in the project with pride, and as a way to give back to the community.
Through this project, Mayor Judge Paul wants to sed the message that Davie is open for business and Davie businesses are doing well. What a great service to small business! I'll be tuning in!
The Town of Davie is home to over 90,000 residents who live across a lush 35 square miles within central Broward. The Town's rural atmosphere, western theme district and sprawling educational complex foster an environment that separates Davie from all other municipalities in Broward County.
