On this evening before Thanksgiving Day 2012 I am reminded how much I am grateful for.
These are the top five things that come to mind immediately:
- My husband. I have loved him for over 26 years. He is my best friend. He makes me laugh, pushes me to be more than I think I can be and is the yin to my yang.
- My children. They are life's greatest blessings. I am so proud of them and I love them very much. My life would be incomplete without them.
- My health. A year ago I joined CrossFit Brighton (Michigan). I am thankful for the Crossfit Trainers and members who have supported and encouraged me to push me out of my comfort zone. CrossFit has been great for stress release and making me mentally and physically stronger.
- My clients. I am grateful for the opportunity to help people realize their dreams of home ownership. I am humbled by their appreciation of me.
- Nature. I am thankful for a beautiful sunrise and sunset (photo below). I am grateful for a new day and appreciative at the end of a day when I know I did all that I could to make a difference.
This list is not all inclusive as there is so much more that I am grateful for (freedom, extended family, friends, good books etc. . . ).
This Thanksgiving Day let us not forget what we are thankful for.
It's definitely NOT being thankful for the stores opening up earlier on Thanksgiving Day for "Black Friday" sales!!!
