A little froggy humor

Home Stager with Stage-Show-Sell

Last week I rec'd an absolutely beautiful bunch of flowers.  Since it's really cold and snowy fresh flowers are really appreciated.

My grandkids were spending the day with my husband and me.   It's so good to have them around for the day.  We played cards, education games, built things with zoobs and Lego.  They played in the snow for awhile.  Great day.

In the afternoon my granddaughter was looking at my flowers, talking about the great smells and colors when a frog  jumped out of the arrangements.

Now they have a pet frog in their aquarium at home.

I have a little problem here.  The frog or flowers didn't come from Michigan. It's way too cold for that  All our frogs are in hiding till spring.

Is this frog legal or do I have to get a green card for it?

Update May 2008.   He didn't make it thru the winter.   The kids tried very hard but he had to make the leap to the great beyond

What a funny story!  At least it was only a frog!  I have heard of people seeing spiders in their bananas!

Yikes!  That would have scared the bejezus out of me!

Here's an interesting bit of trivia..........heard on "Jeopardy" the other night that green cards are, in fact, issued on pink paper!  Go figure!

Welcome to Michigan, Froggy Friend!  What did your grandkids name him?

My Grandfrog is called Stow Away.  He seems to be doing well in his aquarium.  Their feeding him fish food right now.

Hope he makes it till April when he'll go outside.

I notice you said "They played in the snow for awhile".

You didn't join them for a snowball fight?

Erby.......... no I didn't go in the snow and play.  Not this winter.  You must have missed the post about me breaking my foot this fall.  No way am I going to go in the snow and play.  One day I thought that should get the mail from the mail box and fell right on my a-- .  We live on a gravel road that was frozen over with fresh snow on top.

Nope this lady is not taking any more chances.

Christina, he croaks with a little accent.  I can't tell if it's Brazilian or Mexican :-)

I rec'd the following from a friend

If you make that frog work for you (performing in the aquarium) - I can recommend an excellent Immigration Attorney... just to be on the safe side.

Deb, I'm married, over 41 years, to my prince.

Update:   He's still doing well.  I will get to 'baby sit' him and my grand dog for a week.

They are feeding him live crickets  crickets as frog food

They check each one over to make sure that the famous one isn't there

I got side tracked this week with catching up on paper work (yuk) for taxes.   Trying to figure out how to keep what I earn.

This week I aslo spend too much time trying to figure out what to do for my Chapter's website.  I do a lot with WCR Michigan and the local Birmingham Bloomfield Chapter.  This week I went into the site to work on it and BLAM the poop hit the fan.  The site had a trojan horse.  My AVG and webroot spy program got it but it still infected my registry.

We had that cleaned out and i tried the site again just to make sure that's where it came from and BLAM again.   Cleaned out computer again and started notifying the other chapters to watch out.  Those who hadn't updated their programs got hit bad others seem to had little damage.

Soooo many days this week were lost to making sure the site is working again and playing with substituting the website with Active Rain, Real Town or Facebook.

I could write for a week about which system I think is best.  That wouldn't be as funny as the frog story.

He's still doing well :-)

Comcast has slowed me down this week too making all efforts to work on Active Rain etc very difficult.  The internet was extremely slow.  It's appears that the cable lines don't like a lot of snow and cold.

It's nice to be missed.
