We are extremely fortunate to live in North Carolina! We have the mountains. We have the ocean. We have art, culture, technology, great food, even furniture.
We can find just about anything we need and want made right here in our backyard. That is exactly why it's never been easier to avoid the stress of crowded malls this Wonderful Holiday Season by shopping at locally owned businesses.
This upcoming Saturday, November 24th is Shop Local Saturday!
With all the fantastically talented local artisans around here making everything from scratch, you can find anything from home made pasta, honey, locally-made furniture & so much more. We can be sure we'll find everything on our holiday list exploring our downtown shops from Clayton to Cary & Chapel Hill’s Southern Seasons.
Here's is a list with just a fraction of all the fabulous little shops we frequent including my personal fave: Once in a Blue Moon Bakery. Do you know what heaven tastes like in the form of butter, eggs and sugar?
I hope you will commit to shopping local this weekend. It's never been more important to pour our hard earned dollars back into our local communities.
