Once again, the League of Volunteers is serving Thanksgiving Dinner at the Newark Pavilion for those who might otherwise be spending the day alone or simply do not have the resources to enjoy the bounty that so many of us take for granted on this day of gustatory overindulgence.
LOV – League of Volunteers – estimates that they may serve as many as 5,000 meals today. Not only will LOV be serving those who attend the meal served at the Newark Pavilion but volunteers will also provide Thanksgiving meals for homebound diners.
League of Volunteers serves the Tri Cities area of Southern Alameda County and reaches out to some Hayward areas, also.
HAVE A WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING
