Sweet on Thanksgiving! How do you chose?
We are thankful to have the family together this year. We alternate with my husband's family and each year one side get's Thanksgiving and the other Christmas. The next year it's the opposite. This works well, as it's consistent, and everyone knows the drill.
Since I was actually born on Thanksgiving day (although the date moves), I am quite a fan of the holiday. Sharing time with family and friends will never get old. Old stories, memories, as well as creating new traditions as we get too old to actually sit at the "children's table" are what life and joy are all about.
While I love the meal, I am probably a biggest fan of dessert. Typically, it's pumpkin pie. Tonight we had a unique experience and let me tell you, it was quite a challenge to pick just a few....
Pumpkin Pie still won the day, but the Turkey cookie, chocolate cake and applie pie weren't bad:-)
