Christmas Preparations -
It's that time of year again!! Some of us are trying to hold off with the Christmas preparations at least until after Thanksgiving and others are chomping at the bit wanting to get this "show on the road."
My wife and I took a day trip to Leavenworth last weekend knowing that it would be the last calm quiet one that town would be experiencing for the next month. We went over Stevens Pass and saw snow near the top. Not much, but enough that it looked like a postcard with the snow tipped trees. (Later that night they got a LOT more!) We took our time wandering around the town, doing a little shopping and then enjoyed a delicious lunch at Cafe Crista before we headed home via Blewitt Pass and then Snoqualmie Pass.
By next week Christmas activities will be in full swing. In Renton we have several special things coming up. November 30th at 7:00 p.m. will be the 19th annual Ivar's Clam Lights event at Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park. December 1, from 3-7 p.m. is the Renton Downtown Holiday Celebration and Tree Lighting complete with music and refreshments and there is a K-9 Candy Cane Fun Run December 2, starting at 9:00 a.m. These are just a few of the planned activities. Check out the Renton City website for a complete list of activities, places and times.
Hope to see some of you out and about enjoying our city and the seasons activities. The Gary McNinch Team will be available to help you with any buying, selling or investing needs throughout the Christmas/New Year season. Feel free to tweet, text, e-mail, or call and may you draw a deep breath and slow down enough to enjoy the preparations as well as Christmas itself.
