Shayna is Not Ready for The Crown Just Yet. As many of you know, I recently lost my beautiful 16 year old Himalayan, Sasha, AKA Queen Sasha. Our 2 year old Shayna is wondering when the crown will be passed on to her. I told her she’s not quite ready for it yet and she went back to sleep.

We are still missing Sasha but I know Shayna will earn the crown at some point....just not yet.

Shayna seems to be very unconcerned about the whole thing.

She didn't even play with the tape.

Debbie - I'm sorry for the loss of Chaco. It's devasting when we lose them, isn't it. I think Shayna is doing well. She seems to have stopped looking for Sasha.

Anita - 18 is a long life for a kitty. You will miss her but you know that she had a great life with you. Sasha was a Blue Point Himmy. They are such beautiful cats.

Shayna looks totally unconcerned about the crown. She'll just bide her time and allow you to do her bidding until you learn the proper respect! Sorry to hear that queen Sasha had to retire permanently...it's tough... I lost my first pet 55 years ago and I'm still not over it.

Sorry it took me a bit to get back to you. I have been swamped in appraisal and I'm still having to do real estate on the side. Thank you for cheking up on me :) I had a couple of AR's send me an email to find out if I was still alive! LOL!

The crane was secured a few days later and they had to take it down and bring in another one, so that situation was clered up pretty quickly as soon as the winds did down and they were able to get up there.

I hope you had a fantastic holiday weekend Toni! Condolences again for your beautiful princess..it is never easy but I try tothink about all the joy they gave me for their entire lives I was lucky to have them...

Toni, I'm so sorry for your loss, no matter how long you have them, it's never long enough. Shayna seems to have her own personality..laid back..easy going!
I've lost my cat little over a year ago and my dog exactly a month after him, it was very hard! We now have another dog and a cat but I still miss the ones I've lost.
