The other day I saw a post in reference to W-M Realty Group (aka W-M group). I had just gotten an order from them and had completed it. I then learned their rep was not to good. At that time I thought this was the 1st assignment from them.

Today I got a check in the mail from guess who? YEP!! But do not get too excited, it was for work I had did for them over 4 years ago...

Paul, i had the same experience, W-M called me to do a BPO, $55 exterior, I took it and completed it. Months later i remembered that i never got a check from them, after calling for about 2 months asking for my $55, they finally sent the check. It wasn't about the money, just how non professional they were. I would never work for them again.

Well guess what they got me again, not long after I started this post I did another assignment for them, (BAD Choice). They have proven to be just the same, not paying their debts.

Ha, mark your calendar, a surprise check in four years. Too bad you couldn't charge them some interest, although nowadays, bank interest isn't much!

Well its a bad thing that I just read this post and just completed my 1st bpo from them.  Its a good thing I refused to do it until they agreed to pay $80.00.  i guess I'll just knock on their door during next ski season to collect my check!

I waited 75 days then sent a nice email reminding them that I was owed money.  Received the check in 7 days.

Wow, glad I turned down an order for them a couple weeks ago. They wanted me to drive 31.5 miles then get on a ferry (more $$) take pix on Put-In-Bay (island in Lake Erie) for $55. No way, granted if it was the middle of summer, I might have thought about it just cause PIB is a great place to have a good time, but $55 no way! Thanks for the heads up!

Hi all, guess who decided to pay me. Yep...W-M Realty Services. Their rep called me  to say they had sent out my check. True enough they had sent it, arrived in the mail today. I wonder do they expect me to do more assets for them? If so I would do it if it was some way to attach a late fee to them not paying in a timely manner.

Do you think they read our blogs?

I have threatened to post them on this blog notifying all agents to steer clear and they coughed up a check fairly quickly

Well Jason that is good to hear. Hopefully this blog will warn others to indeed steer clear before they get taken in by them. Thanks for the comments!

Its over a month later & I am still waiting on my checks for the 2 BPO's I did....I'm not taking another one until I get paid, its just not worth it

Eric, I am not one to say I told you so. I was not fabricating when I said I had nce did a BPO for them, and just plain forgot I had, then years later I get a check for it. I also made the same mistake at the begining of the year, it took over I 5 months to get my money. I want to think this blog and my constant inquiries about where money was did the trick.  PERHAPS

I actually ended up getting a check from them....If I didn't track payments I prob. would never have noticed. I think I'll stick with companies I don't have to hound for my money.

Eric,

Thanks for me as an assoiciate, I am truly grateful to be selected. Yes W-M, is not a recommended company to work with. I wonder what is running through their minds, how can they think they are employing good business practices. I guess they figure there are so many agents out there that don't know their record. They even tend to come back to those who have applied pressure to get their agreed upon fee. I suppose they may think we forget after a year or two.

I did three bpos for them in Dec 2008 and Jan 2009 and i have been told by the rep that my invoices are sitting on the accouants desk and still haven't recieved them.  I just left a message now, should be interesting to see if I get a response.

Adam,

As you will see from my 1st post, I did an assignment for them. Then got another about 4 years later, realizing I had done work for them because they sent me a check for what they had owed. On the 2nd assignment it took about 4 months to get paid. I would email them everday to remind to send my money. So here is my advise keep on them until payment arrives. I also thing this blog may have had an effect also. It seems that when I said I would not recommend them to anyone via this blog they ay have took notice.

Update on my expereince with w-m,   I received a phone call a couple of weeks ago from them wanting to get further explanation on a BPO that I did 10months ago.  I brushed them off because I nevered got paid.  They kept bugging me and come to find out the BPO that they were comparing mine to was over $2million difference in price on the luxury home.  I told the rep the person who did the BPO for them didn't know anything and sent them a comp that closed this month that was very close to my price I gave them .

We will see if I get paid on this, if not oh well live and learn.

Adam,

Thanks for your input! I believe the more we spread the word about this company the less will become victim as we did. If you are a member of other blog communities spread it there also. Not should  this company be exposed, but the other's that are dishonest as well.
