It is (was) 85 degrees in Tucson yesterday. Today is expected to be another warm day. Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice – sunny skies, mild breezes here and there, the time of year when those of us just couldn’t think of any better place to be but outdoors.
But it’s still the holidays and we too still crave the cooler temps that give enthusiasm to sit by a fireplace, drinking hot chocolate and snuggle up in blankets. It’s the thought that makes the “Enchanted Snowfall” event so appealing!
“Enchanted Snowfall” – it is the annual Tucson snowfall that happens every Friday and Saturday night beginning now through December 22nd at LaEncantada the north side of town.
LaEncantada is Tucson’s foothills shopping center filled with stores that are deemed the best a shopper could want. While you shop, set your watch, at 6:00pm and again at 6:45pm, white fluffy snow will drift down and all around the courtyards. The event is free and lasts about 15 minutes per snowfall. In between the snow, enjoy complementary cocoa and coffee, listen to live music and simply enjoy.
