DO YOU CONTACT YOUR SENATOR OR YOUR REPRESENTATIVE?
Conrad Allen of Webster MA took action. He contacted his Representative about an issue that he believes was important to him. Unfortunately, he is an exception to the rule. First of all, if you are going to contact your Congressional Representative, you need to be aware of the issue. It takes time to learn the issue. Realtors should be speaking from the same sheet of music, with regards to issues that are important to us.
I do but I am not pest like. We are the proponents of issues concerning real estate. This is the response that I received from Congressman Richard Neal. This was a letter expressing my concern about the USDA program being gutted. I am in a rural area that uses this program for first time home buyers. Congressman Neal did not say he would save it but he will keep my concerns in mind. Not a very resounding support letter but at least he is aware that voters are watching his vote.
We need to keep our legislators aware that were are watching and we have concerns.
