Barry Manilow will perform at the HP Pavilion on Thursday, December 6, 2012 @ 7:30pm

The HP Pavilion is located downtown San Jose at 525 W Santa Clara Street, San Jose, CA 95113

There are so many great restaurants downtown. Keep in mind that most restuarants are much busier during the holiday season. I recommend making dinner reservations early.

There is a lot happening downtown San Jose. The two biggest events right now are Christmas in the Park and Downtown Ice.

Mary, The holiday season is when I listen to music the most. Otherwise I prefer quiet. When I am driving I have inspirational CDs or audio books I listen to.

Downtown San Jose has made great changes in the last 5-10 years. Downtown in the Park is lots of fun, and I'm sure the Barry Manilow concert will add to the festivities. No longer does one need to sing, "Do You Know the Way to San Jose?"

Joan, I'd be willing to be the average age is 50 and up. I don't know many in the younger generation that have an appreciation for him.

Lottie, That is so true. Fact is, I know the way to San Jose and when I head downtown, I frequently make a lot of wrong turns - notice I did not say I get lost (LOL)!

Kathleen, funny after all these years Barry has been performing, he at 70 is still going strong. He was scheduled at Red Rocks (west of Denver) last night, but was canceled due to severe rain and lightning.
