Crowley Texas

Crowley, Texas is located in Tarrant County and a small portion in Johnson County. Crowley sits at the crossroads of Farm Roads 1187 and 731. Crowley is 2 miles west of Interstate 35 and 15 miles south of Downtown Fort Worth. In about 1848 settlers began farming in the area around Deer Creek. When the Gulf, Colorado and Santa fe Railroad built pens and laid tracks a mile or so west of Deer Creek the Settlement moved to that location. Crowley was named for S.H.Crowley, the master of transportation for the railroad.
The Crowley Independent School District extends north into Fort Worth. The Crowley ISD has two high schools, Crowley High School and North Crowley High School. Crowley continues to grow adding new homes, shopping and schools. There is still room to grow!
