dogs around a christmas tree cartoon

Happy Monday Folks! If you are like me, you probably put up your Christmas Decorations over the weekend. We normally get a real tree each year so when I saw this cartoon, I couldn't help buy laugh out loud as this is a common question around my house! Hope you have a great week!

Maggie sure made me chuckle.  I remember my little shitsu took it upon himself to 'water the tree' when I went to welcome new neighbors.  I coudln't believe it as he'd never done that before.  I guess the other dog was marking his territory and Wookie was having nothing to do with that...it was his territory!!

Maggie -- with so many watering it -- I am surprised that it wasn't overflowing on the floor, like mine would be doing.  lol

Maggie,

I will have to show this to my family we have a dog and I can see him doing that even though our tree is artificial and I bought it today and put it up!

My Mom watered our artificial tree more than once, BUT not in the manner insinuated above.

Maggie, funny...it's amazing how quickly a tree will absorb water and the sooner you get it into water the better.  In Illinois I would get a tree as soon as they were being sold and stick it in a bucket of water...sometimes a month early...really helps to preserve the tree.
