It was a terrific recipe! The very best. There were really not many ingredients. What went in to this was easy to find and I just had to look around to find what I needed. This gets made several times a year, but I wish we could make it more often. No, I am not talking about food, although that seems to be all I have been interested in during the past 5 days. I am talking about making a house a home. Not just any house, because I routinely find my house made into a home by my wife and two girls. I am talking about my in-law's home and my father's home.
The ingredients are people and love. These ingredients come together especially at the holidays. Throw in a few relatives that you do not get to see but once a year, toss in a few close family members that have left the home to be on their own, and add to a house and guess what you get? You get a home full of a special glow.
As Real Estate agents we are lucky to see this first hand throughout the year. Every time we place a young couple in their first home and see the possibilities through their eyes. This is what I love about holidays, and truthfully, about Real estate as well. I can't wait for Christmas to roll around. Because we will get to make this special recipe once more.
