Oops - Active Rain seems to be burping a lot today!

It must be those holiday leftovers ...little girl

This morning I've gotten notice of a comment from yesterday morning, and then started getting 2, 3, and 4 emails telling me about the same comments today.

That's a heck of deal for the "techie guys" to come back from a holiday week-end and have to dive right in to fixing a glitch.

Meanwhile, I'm celebrating!

When I logged in this morning, it put me over 500,000 points!

No big deal any more with so many Active Rain "Millionaires" running around - but a big deal for me.

I've gotten the same results.  Something is up...  That is pretty weird.

Hi Marte - congratulations on reaching the 500K milestone - well done and with consistently good content.   I've also received pages of ActiveRain email notifications - I'm sure the powers in the know are aware and are working on the fix.

Marte, isn't 500K a milestone rewarded by AR with a free membership?    Somewhere in the deep recess of my cob-webbed noodle is a crumpled sticky noting a price break after 400k points and a freebie after 500K.   Does that sound right?

I believe you're right, but it doesn't matter to me because I joined so long ago that I was "Grandfathered in" when they started charging for membership.

I didn't get serious about blogging right away, but came around just often enough to keep the membership.

I'm glad I finally woke up and saw the value! Now I tell all the agents I speak with that they need to join - and blog consistently.

Donna - Lots of glitches today. I couldn't even get here a half hour ago.

You've only got about 45,000 points to go to get to 500,000. Do a few contests or challenges and you'll be there in no time!

Thanks Laura, you'll be there yourself before you know it! As for the new messages... I'm getting them too, and wonder what's the point? We get a message every time someone leaves a comment, so we know we need to go and respond.

I can think of other things that would be more useful - such as the ability to comment on a specific comment.

Nan - Once you're on a roll, it happens faster than you expect. I reached 500 just after Thanksgiving, and now I'm almost at 525!
