Did you really use a photograph of the mailboxes in your marketing?


I was called out to a property to do some repairs in an apartment community yesterday. I had been there before but didn’t have the street address to give to my employee. I searched online for the property address, and saw that there were photos of the property. I was curious as to what the photos included.


Being on ActiveRain, looking at the photos is fun because I’ve learned from the group what should not be put into the MLS photos. I had to laugh when I came across this photo of the mailboxes at the apartment. Really? This is what you want the viewer to see when they are looking for someplace to live?


I’m pretty sure that there are better photos that could have been used.

Get this I has a out of town condo buyer who wanted me to shoot a pic of the mailboxes and then shoot them from the condo he was interested in.  I guess he wanted to know how far his walk was going to be..... Imagine that.

I suppose for some people it was of interest, or would be. If this was the ONLY photo I would really have to wonder about the marketing by the listing agent. They should add an arrow pointing to the box for the unit in question. LOL
