Greg Harrelson, owner of C21 The Harrelson Group of Myrtle Beach, and his friend and fellow Realtor, Brendon Payne, are joining the CEO of Century 21 in an unusual venture to gather donations for this year's Easter Seals funding.
2012 Climb for Kids
CEO Rick Davidson sponsors the Climb for Kids charity team, and will be leading the group to Mexico to scale two volcanoes near Mexico City.
Rick explains on the Century 21 Facebook,
"This year we will charge up the mountains of Mexico, with a team of six other climbers, and attempt to summit Pico de Orizaba and Iztaccihuatl.
Total elevation of both peaks is 35,650 feet and my individual goal is to raise $1 per foot of elevation climbed. Our TEAM goal is $100,000."
At 6am on Tuesday morning, the Easter Seals page reported 41 donations for a climbing total so far of $16,102.00.

Greg Harrelson is an in-demand national speaker and real estate coach, appearing regularly in seminars for his friend Gary Keller (CEO of Keller Williams Realty) and other conventions nationally as well as locally here in Myrtle Beach. He has recently been approached by the popular Active Rain Realtor Network to speak at their next "Rain Camp" convention.
Greg and Brendon are both ranked in the Top 10 Myrtle Beach Realtors out of about 2800 agents, and have taken on the challenge together as partners - training for weeks with a professional climbing and fitness company who designed a workout routine to prepare them for the trip to Mexico. Brendon says their routine included extended inclined treadmill workouts with weighted backpacks, 3-5 hour hikes with weighted packs, and workouts in stadiums and parking garages.
