Beaver Creek Crossings - Apex, NC Shopping

"Well, what kind of shopping is nearby?"
That's one of the most common questions I get from the great people I speak to that are looking to move to the area.
Here's an example of one terrific shopping area. Beaver Creek Crossings is a new shopping center in Apex, NC that has a lot to offer. It's been open for less than a year, and many of the small shops are still under construction.
But there are a lot of great anchor stores that have been open and have a lot to offer, and it's becoming a destination for Jordan Lake residents as well as Apex natives, because it's so easy to get to on Hwy 64.
Thinking about trying a new sport?
Dick's Sporting Goods has just about everything you can think of, whether you want to support your favorite pro team, mountain bike, ice skate, golf, play tennis, go tubing on the lake, or set up a home gym.
Ulta - Beauty Products and More
This is the 10th Ulta to be built in North Carolina, but the first one I've been in. They have everything from drugstore Preference Hair Color to Redken and TIGI hair products. If you're looking for a professional styling appliance like a Chi ceramic hair straightener, this is the place to go. Check out the Sunday paper for their weekly ads - this week's special is $3.50 off any $10 purchase, along with a Best of Stile make up kit for $40, retail value $120.50.
Need a new game?
Circuit City has computer and video games, tv's, electronic equipment, digital cameras, GPS systems, car sound systems, and more. Nice clean store with friendly associates.
Gardening for Dummies - and a cup of latte
Border's Books is your typical large bookstore with a coffee shop inside. You may want to sign up for the Borders Rewards programs. It's free, and you'll get coupons for 15 or 20% (or even more) off featured books, movies, tv series on DVD, and more. Also, you'll get $5 off everytime your accumulated purchases add to $150.
How about a new rug for the new kitchen?
TJMaxx HomeGoods offers discounted home fashions like curtains, sheets, towels, and more. There are large seasonal lines, dishes, children's furniture - lots to look at, and because this is a discount store, the merchandise mix is constantly changing. You may have seen a TJ Maxx HomeGoods section inside of a Marshall's, but this is the first stand-alone store I've seen, and it's about as big as the neighboring Circuit City.

Want to see a Movie?
The left end of the shopping center is anchored with Beaver Creek Cinemas, a Consolidated Theatre. Check the link for movie times and ticket prices. The theatre also offers children's movies from time to time with a special $1.00 ticket price.
Jeans, Sweaters, Career Wear, and More
Kohl's is slightly separate, but visible from the main center, just to the west of the movie theatre. Kohl's is one of my favorite places to shop. They have a large selection of clothing and housewares for the whole family, and lots of sale events. Sign up for a credit card, and you'll get lots of "15% off your entire purchase" coupons throughout the year.
There's also a section of smaller shops with traditional "small town" parking. Get your nails done, have your hair cut, grab lunch, or buy a new cell phone. There's lot of choices, including a Red Robin and a Lonestar Steakhouse.
The Beaver Creek Crossings shopping center is just a block from Beaver Creek Commons, which includes SuperTarget, Lowe's Hardware, Linen's N Things, Office Max, and more great places to eat like Qdoba's, Panera Bread, Chili's, and a new IHOP that has just opened. Whether you live near Jordan Lake, in Apex, or Holly Springs, it's easy to get all your shopping done in one place, at the Beaver Creek shopping centers at the corner of Hwy 64 and Hwy 55 in Apex, NC.
