Nichols hardware store, looks like fun!! And you did a great job on the tour, is that your kitchen I saw?

Missy. I love Nichols Hardware. These old guys have been around forever and the store has everything. They help you, check you out, load up your car and give very good advise if needed.

I just love that old hardware store...we have one in our area that looks like a carbon copy of the one in your picture...and doesn't it even have a nice 'smell' to it!!! Thanks, Fran

Lenn, I too love the hardware store like described above. They do seem to have everything.

Dan. They have everything including a smile and a helping hand.

Fran. I really appreciate the local merchants. I moved here from Bethesda where it was almost impossible to get anything serviced, even a telephone call returned. Out here, the local guys are ready to help right away. I love them and I can depend on them.

Lenn- A real hardware store.. sign me up.. I miss real hardware stores where you could buy 2 nails and someone would know the right size for your project..

Kaye. Me too. These shops in rural areas are almost gone now. This one dates back to 1914.

LENN - Another gem in what looks to be an outstanding series. I can't wait to see what you have in store for parts 3-20! I think in the day and age of big box stores, most of us have an appreciation for the smaller mom and pop shops where you can actually get assistance from knowledgeable people.

Adam. I'm up to #5 today. I've done 1-4. I'm just trying to decide on a feature to cover. I'm looking for some son for new photos.
