I am interested in your comments and thoughts as I do not have a tech support at my office. I am the tech guy working for myself and learning as much as possible each day. But I have come accross a situation I need your input as well as help if you can.
My FLEX MLS system, and not sure what it is called in the lower 48 but similar to my Multiple Listing Service. I cannot gain access past the password which gives me a blank screen. I cannot access anything farther than this. When I send out emails to clients and can view them throught my pop3 server or email when they open the email, I can see what was sent to them. It will have 1 smaller main picture and listing information for each property, such as minimal information. I cannot access individual listings after that as I highlight or click on the property listing number and thats it. Is the Palm Treo not user friendly for MLS programs as I was under the assumption they were.
I have had my Treo for about 5 months and love the capability of internet, emails, texts, and all the capability it will give me for being a Realtor which I think everyone is crazy not to have this thing. But while on a listing and I want to gain information on another listing my clients may ask me about or to go and see if it is vacant to go show or find the contact number to see when we can go and show it on a quick notice.
I really need help and understand if maybe the Palm Treo is not capable of MLS services. I have a 700WX Windows based version which is one below the newest model. Is anyone having the same difficulty I have or do you have an answer. I have been on the phone countless hours with the company to get as far as I did, as I believe there is only about 15% at the company that actually know what they are doing with these phones. I had 4 people try to get my email up and running and screwed up my phone farther than I was before as the people at the local level don't know how to use it but only sell it. Anyways beyond that, please help.
