What Does Frozen Tundra Have to do with Real Estate? That long expanse of frozen white ice that goes on for miles and miles which seem to have no end. You know from all those National Geographic specials and History channel shows that give you that sense of forboding. Sometimes in RI real estate there is just no mutual love between buyers and sellers. It seems as though the frozen tundra is on the table and all around you.
Ginny, The same practice is normally in place here. Keep things as objective as possible, no face to face meetings usually to prevent the accidental statement that is misinterpreted. We've had closings where people can't stand to be in the same room, and others where you'd swear they were old friends even though they just met. You never know how the personalities will mesh.
I actually would prefer it this way. .
My most anxious moments is when my seller and potential buyers meet and have a conversation. . "like when the police was all over the neighborhood or the nudist across the street. ."
Ginny: To avoid any undue drama, I always prefer that buyers and sellers do not meet until at the closing table.
Hello Ginny, you're absolutely right in not letting buyers and the sellers meet. This is some great stuff you've got here. Keep it up North Kingstown short sale agents.
Bob, what can u say?
Bliz, this is so true isn't it...we trudge on!
Fernando, i guess you are Braveheart?
ANita, enough said...
Katerina, i say can we just get this home closed to everyones satisfaction?
Ginny this is unfortunate but true, and a deal can fall apart very quickly because of it.
Ginny, we had 2 settlements this year where the parties could not even be in the same room. All over tiny inconsequential things on half million + homes. Folks....do not be this way. Life is too short and a loose doorknob is not the next thing to nuclear conflagration.
Ginny, Congratulations on getting the home sold inspite of the obstacles.
