should be protected from itself.

"Deer Crossing signs should not be placed near busy highways.! Clearly, the signs should be moved to less threatening locations, so that the deer know where to SAFELY travel!"

I guess we should not teach the Deer to read. But I can understand the frustration after having hit a deer.
