An important aspect of any community is the medical facilities that are available. Located near downtown Branson is Skaggs Community Health Center.  

Skaggs Community Health Center is a 165-bed, not-for-profit, community-owned, full-service hospital. The facility has been serving the residents and visitors to Taney and Stone counties since 1950. 

The campus includes Skaggs Hospital, Skaggs Outpatient Center, a helicopter landing pad for air ambulance service and two medical office plazas. Also, the Skaggs network includes a variety of family medicine and specialty satellite clinics, as well as the 7,500-square foot Skaggs Health & Fitness Center located at the Branson Rec-plex.

I vacationed for a couple days in Branson this past July.  While we were there my sister had to be taken to the ER at Skaggs Hospital, and I have to say it wasn't bad at all.  I'm from Texas and here it usually takes a couple hours to be seen.  At Skaggs it only took about 30 minutes to see a doctor... Very impressive.  I found a list of doctors for next time that might come in handy next time.
