It's a wrap.  You've completed the 30 in 30 Challenge today and you're going to email Kerrie and get those 3000 bonus points.  WOOO HOOOOOO!!!

But the REAL challenge starts tomorrow!  The point carrot on a stick is now gone.  It's up to YOU and YOU alone.  Did the last 30 days make a habit, or are you going to take a break??  Because my fear is this:  If you take a day off, you might take two days off.  2 becomes 3 becomes 4 becomes See You Never. 

My subscriber roll is populated with people that demonstrated the ability to be great bloggers, but suddenly they were gone. 

Some bloggers have the discipline to take a day or two off and come right back.  Frankly, others don't.  It's easy for life to get in the way.  Blogging is a LONG TERM commitment if you want it to work.  Subject matter is key.  Persistence is key too. 

We're not saying you HAVE to post every day, but do the math.  The more relevant posts you put out to the Internet, the more likely the consumers will find and call you.  And the same applies for agent to agent referrals.  Once a week probably isn't going to cut it if your competition is putting out 52 posts a month to your 52 posts a YEAR.

So what's tomorrow going to be for you?  A market report?  A local event?  A real estate experience?  Or a day off?

The final decision is up to you! 

For us, it'll be another day of writing what we hope is the next post to make our phone ring!

Bliz Blogging daily is a great goal and I am glad I was able to participate in November.  I plan to do several blogs weekly.  The one a day right now would probably mean neglecting something els,e so I have to be balance.

I got a good start of my neighborhood posts. I was out today snapping more photos. There are approximately 200 neighborhoods in Franklin TN. I hope to have a blog post on every single one of them by March. So when those Spring sellers start Googling their neighborhood, my AR neighborhood post pops up. Sounds like a plan. I'll keep you posted.

BLiz- I made the commitment almost 2 years ago to post every day.  I knew that if I decided to take a day off, then that day could turn into 2 or 3 or more.  I know "me" so even though there are some days when my head is full of cotton, I'm still gonna post!

Tammie, I like your goal!!  There's consumer calls for sure at the end of that community post rainbow!

Richard, The points are just a feel good thing for the competitive among us, but not nearly the best reward for doing what we should be doing.

Brian, It's those non-reward periods that determine our success overall.

Sharon, There certainly is plenty of source material.

Kathy, And that's an important thought.  You know yourself and what works best for you.  For me, it's a daily.  For other people, it's a rapid burst in one day and they'll be back next week for another burst.  Either way, we've got to populate the blog and keep Google fed.

Melissa, We see it every challenge.  People that are worn out and we hope they're able to push through and get to the point where blogging consistently doesn't tire them, but instead energizes them.

At the beginning of this year, I set a goal to blog every day.  Most months I have been able to achieve that goal and I am definitely going to continue.  It gets easier and easier the more I blog.

Yes, you're right.  It's key to make this a habit.  As you know, for me, the original 30 in 30 back a couple of yrs ago is what did it for me.

I do not blog on a daily basis...but, I do blog often and average at least 1 day, and prob. a bit more.  AR and blogging has become a habit, and now G+ (and to a lesser extent Pinterest) has as well, and those are good habits.

Evelyn, It does get easier the more you do it.  Most mornings I wake up without a planned topic.  If the brain goes empty, I'll review the archives for past local events and make sure we cover them again with a new look.

Suzi, Congrats on the 30/30 completion!  A day off is not a problem, especially since you still have plenty to write about :)

Christine, I think you have a few more activities in your daily agenda than I do...kids will do that :)

Debbie, If you're not blogging daily, you at least create the perception that you're blogging daily.  You're on our blog roll and never get to far down it!

Margaret, It's easier to NOT blog than to blog, but not blogging doesn't help our business, so we blog regularly.  And it's helping create calls.
