Ice Skating Has Started at Alpine's Viejas Outlet Center

Viejas Casino & Outlet Center offers the residents of Alpine many attractions and activities not usually afforded to a bedroom community. From fine dining to bowling, shopping and entertainment Viejas has provided much for Alpinians to do. My favorite Viejas attraction of all though of course is the Largest Outdoor Ice Skating Rink in Southern California. My family has been going for years and it is one of our favorite winter experiences.

For us winter doesn't start until we are outside under the stars, (you see you can actually see stars in Alpine's sky unlike the night sky in the city) ice skating surrounded by the lights of the beautifully decorated Viejas Outlet Center.

Sometimes we forget that the ice skating rink is surrounded by an excellent shopping center with tons of great stores so Mom can go shopping while the kids enjoy the ice. A great opportunity to do two things at once. For those really on top of their game remember that Viejas has a great Black Friday promotion starting at midnight, so you could go ice skating at the Viejas Outlet until 10, eat inside the casino and then be energized to shop at the sales.

Now I didn't see it on the website but I did hear a rumor that the interactive fountain area is featuring a new show. The Ice Princess might be retired and now they have a new winter interactive light show. I know it starts at 7 pm, so if you are able to see it before I am please let me know what the new show is called.
