There is still time to help someone for the Holiday's

It is not to late to help someone in need for this Christmas Season.

Just remember...It doesn't have to be monetary.  I helped a neighbor today cut wood for an elderly couple.  He broke a leg and can't get wood into the house and the fixed income would be all taken up with the cost of fuel.

My wife and I have taken on two families for the Christmas Season and that set us back even more than we budgeted for.

But, I am still up to help someone that needs physical work done.

So, get out your work clothes and just give a hand...it is needed by many!

Just be careful when helping.  Ending up like this helps no one!

Great idea. No need to be the deer in the headlights, right! Which is how I feel so often when trying to decide what to give during the holidays. Give back to those who need it most.

Great job, Bill. That is so awesome. I know, from personal experience, that cutting firewood is a lot of work. We mostly burn wood in the winter. As a matter of fact, I have to get a fire going soon. It's been pretty warm during the day, but most nights are getting down in the 20s.

Today I went shopping for family Christmas gifts, and gifts for the 5 year old girl I adopted from The Angel Tree. It was a lot of fun. I got all the presents for the little girl bought and already dropped off at The Garden Center. It was a big bag of stuff, but I hit the sales right, and one little Delta County girl, in the foster care system, is going to have a nice Christmas.

Bill, so many people need the help more than a monetary gift.  A gift of your time is special!

You're right - sometimes it's more about the time and effort you can give, not the money.

Good post.  Yes, we should all help out.  Poor guy in the hospital.  He's probably a Realtor who slipped on someone's unshoveled walk.
