Having a registered domain for each property is important - we do that for all our properties. Here's an example, www.135SunsetDriveN.com.  We actually host it on my main domain, under Featured Properties, but for marketing and quick reference, we use the property site address.

You can do the same thing for yourself for all properties at www.singlepropertysites.com.  It doesn't cost much ($19/mo), plus you can get the domain at www.godaddy.com for as little as 6.95.   I do it for all my properties - whether high end or just an "average" home. 

Anything you can do to make the listing stand out just puts you ahead of other agents.  I also like that I can track how many visitors are coming to the site. 

Thanks for your comment, Tori. You’re right: one can purchase a domain name for next to nothing these days or use one of the services such as the one you mentioned, www.singlepropertysites.com. 

I might also suggest that you and others check out another Web service, www.AgencyLogic.com.  As part of their “Power Site” tool, they get the domain for you.  Much more than that, however, and a number of my CyberStars® have used them for 3 years now. 

The AgencyLogic Power Sites are really quite a value, in that they are like a complete (very complete!) Web site for your listing.  A lot of great features, anyone can used them, and they are a terrific tool for both getting listings and selling them.

Didn’t mean to stray too far from the original “street address as domain name issue,” but this is an excellent service for “total marketing” of your listings.
