Card Tricks for the Holidays

Do you send your clients holiday cards?

If, YES, do you mail them, hand them to them personally, hire with a card service or utilize ecards?   Over the next few months  I am going to use a combination of delivery methods and log the results.

Usually I send "Happy New Year" cards and/or St. Valentine's Day cards. I stay away from anything religious. Whenever possible my cards are handmade personally. That is always a nice touch. In order to simply my life this season my cards were purchased.  They have generic holiday themes. All of the cards that I purchased are recycled and from non-profit organizations.

Sending out cards for holidays that are not as popular gives you more bang for your buck.

So far handing the cards to people directly has had a wonderful effect.  People smile and there is a direct connection.  it reminds me of passing out Valentine's Day cards as a child. A card is a portable hug or token of appreciation that is shared with someone you care about.   A card may be revisited by the receipt over and over again.

Last week I gave a personally card to my amazing ENT Doctor and his staff.  They were delighted.
