The little bee is very busy and didn't want to stop and smile for the camera, Kristin. That's okay.

Like the song from "The King and I" says, the bee goes from flower to flower, but the flower doesn't go from bee to bee.

Hi Myrl,

This sunflower plant sprung up from a seed that fell from the bird feeder. I came back from vacation and there it was growing. Then about 3 weeks later it finally bloomed so I am feeling very territorial and maternal about this plant and the bee was just gorging himself on pollen. I read where they have a hard time finding pollen in the winter and many die. But i just do not want the bees to hurt my plant; those drunk little bees.

Hi Toni,

It is a hard spot as the pool curves right there and I have to be careful not to fall in with my camera. I must have taken 20 pictures to get only 2 good ones and usually most of my pics are fair to great so it was difficult. Thanks for stopping and today I see my little flower wilting away so I think the birds, the bees and those pesky snails have taken all the nourishment from it and it is dying. I am going to move it to a pot and try to salvage it.

Hi Toni W,

Yes the bee was not very friendly and did not want to cooperate with me. I did not want to make him mad either so I ended up with few pics as I was too close or too far! Today I am going to look at a Macro lens for my camera as it would  make it fun to take more close-ups and the quality would be richer.
