As we celebrate the holidays in Tulsa, OK we have some holiday highlights that residents and visitors may be interested in. There’s a lot going on in Tulsa this December so we can’t list them all, but we have compiled a list of some of the most popular Tulsa events.
Tulsa OK Holiday Events:
* Winterfest – This magical filled holiday event began in late November, but will be here until January 6, 2013 so there is still plenty of time to enjoy the fun. Winterfest will be in the streets of Downtown Tulsa at the BOK Center with an estimated 150,000 visitors. You can enjoy ice skating under the Tulsa skyline while you watch free entertainment. It’s a favorite Tulsa holiday tradition.
* Macy’s National Santa Bus Tour – Santa is coming to Tulsa in Macy’s style as he leaves is reindeer to rest before Christmas. Kids of all ages can meet Santa when his tour bus comes to the Woodland Hill’s Macy’s. There will be lots of Christmas spirit and magical moments with Santa’s jolly elves. You can see Santa each day at the Woodland Hills Mall at 1:00 pm starting December 16, 2012. Admission is FREE.
* Mannheim Steamroller Christmas – This popular event keeps the holidays around just a little longer with a special end of year concert by the group Mannheim Steamroller. The group offers an array of traditional holiday music with many of the songs being big hits on the radio. You can catch the show December 29th at 8pm and December 30th at 2pm at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center.
