Have you heard? There is a Conotek Park Sensplex arriving in Ottawa!
It will be a 28 million dollar facility and will be built under a public private partnership agreement with the Ottawa Community Ice Partners. The project will include construction of a new rink as well as renovations to the existing arena. It is expected to be completed by the fall of 2014. Many people were concerned that it would interfere with the volleyball courts, and the soccer fields but that is no longer an issue. The City plans to rent the ice time to local organizations.
The new addition will definately be exciting for us all!
